2025年8月29日（金）~31日（日）に行われた旭川でのゼミ合宿において，大河内研究室で取り組んでいる北海道旭川にある空き家化した銭湯「旭湯」再生のための設計案発表会を現地にて開催しました。
オーナー様にB4とM1の学生14名がそれぞれの設計案をプレゼンしました。市議会委員，近所の商店街の店主，新聞記者の方も参加されて予想を超える盛会となりました。
現地に赴くことで，地図や写真で見たこととは異なる新たな気づきがありました。オーナー様からも現地に住むからこそ分かる意見を伺うことができ，貴重な経験となりました。次年度以降も継続して取り組み，より良い案を提案できるように頑張ります！
Asahi-yu Revitalization Project: “FY 2025 Asahi-yu Renovation Plan Presentation”
During the seminar retreat held in Asahikawa from Friday, August 29, to Sunday, August 31, 2025, the Okochi Laboratory hosted an on-site presentation of design proposals for the revitalization of “Asahi-yu,” a vacant public bathhouse in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, on which the lab has been working.
Fourteen B4 and M1 students presented their respective design proposals to the owner. City council members, shop owners from the nearby shopping district, and newspaper reporters also attended, making the event a greater success than we had anticipated.
Visiting the site in person provided us with new insights that differed from what we had seen on maps and in photographs. We were also able to hear opinions from the owner that could only come from someone who lives there, making it a valuable experience. We will continue this project in the coming academic year and beyond, and we will do our best to propose even better designs!
